The closer you doing there, Europe is far too expensive.
We may as well support your sister with questions.

PS: If you already bought material, I would do in your place the same with the tent of the trailer.
I can get here in Chile the zipper, the film for windows an sewing. The company I found here I think they are able to reproduce the tent and that is very important because each piece of it must mach perfectly, so as to avoid any damage or rupture when you open the tent.
The second matter is the quality of the fabrics. Here they import fabrics mostly from China and India, but I do preffer de german ones.
I haven't bought yet the material. This weekend I'm going to the company wich could make the tent to see what they have and how they work, so as to teake a resolution.
I'll keep in touch if I decide to importe the fabrics with the help of my sister in law, so you can support her with any question she might have.
By the way, yesterday in the page of the forum Norbert put up 3 pictures of my Heini, so as to determinate as possible, the year it could have been built. Any help about it is welcome.

Greets,

Exactly, those are. The Fahrgestell Nr. is C-01502.
Is there any way of determinating the year it was built by the pictures and the Fahrgestell Nr. ?

Hi Christian,

normally you will find the year of building on the label with the 'Fahrgestell Nr. too. The german shortcut for this is 'Bj.' or in upper casses 'BJ'.
I guess it will buil in the 70s or the 80s. I think in the last 80s the get a grey tent. If you look here you wil see a Heinemann build in 1980. Here you can see a verey small picture of a Heinemann from 1988 and this is a Heini from 1979 an here one from 1972.
You see, there is a long range in that was the color of youre tent sold.

Hi Christian y Macarena

Now I've found the following. The “butterflies” of Heinemann Z470 are built by 1977 to 1984.
From 1984 to 1993, Z 572
If anyone wants to correct my dates, let me know.

I guess that is Christian's “butterfly” of 1978 and 1979.
Since I have found a similar picture on the net where the cover is identical.
The “butterfly” in the picture below are from the year 1981 and in the registration document mentioned even 600kg total weight.

Hi Niels:
Thank's a lot for your information. By comparing our "heini" to those pictures you provided, we concluded ours is from the seventies; the courtains and cushions are exacltly the same as the picture from 1972. However, there is no information about the year in its plates. It's been so nice to talk to you all, you seem to have a lot of experience in this ,we on the other hand are newcomers, we used to go camping in tents, but because of the weather we decided to look for something that would allow us to sleep one meter from the ground but that was in no way electrical or not environmentally friendly, so ...here we are.
Greetings from Santiago, Chile.

We agree with you, after all the information you and Neils have provided, we conclude it is from 1978 or 1979. our butterfly mentions 450 kg and the tent is smaller than the one on the pictures you sent, but the color is the same.We hope to have a new tent made here but we will in no way sacrifice the style, we promise to keep its spirit. We'll keep you informed on our adventure.
Greetings from Chile
Macarena and Christian

Dear Kalus:

The wedding was "long time ago", we have 28 years of a happy mariage (I was by that time 25 and Macarena 23, so you can calculate how "old" we are "but not in our spirit"), we have 5 kids of 27 (girl), 26 (Boy), 23 (Girl), 18 (Boy) and a little boy of just 7.
Thanks for your wishes, and you can have no doubt that we are and will continue having a lot of fun with our butterfly.

Greets,

Christian and Macarena
